Professional Reviews

91 Points "Whole-berry pressed and cool-fermented on light solids to dryness. Five-fifty is the elevation of the historic Mountadam vineyard; the secret to the elegance, tension and brightness of this pinot noir rosé in a season as powerful as '20. Pretty rose petal, pomegranate, strawberry hull and morello cherries are energised by pronounced, tangy acidity that promises medium-term endurance. Value." - Tyson Stelzer - Halliday Wine Companion

93 points "Medium, bright pink colour. Strawberries and cream aromas. Ripe fruits and creamy lees characters flow everywhere, fine acid sits at the side just to point the flow in the right direction and keep it long. There is some sweetness in play, but fine tannins clean up the finish. A very well-rounded wine that would please many rosé fans at its impressive price" Stuart Knox - The Real Review

Tasting Notes

Mountadam Vineyards is a family owned and operated winery, located at 550 metres above sea level. Our vineyards are some of the highest in the Barossa region. All wines are crafted using 100% Estate grown fruit.

The Estates very first single vineyard Pinot Noir Rosé sourced from old-vine estate plantings from Mountadams High Eden vineyard. This dedicated parcel was picked at the perfect ripeness and fermented through to dryness to make a beautiful Rosé, pale in colour, intense in flavour.
