On release this wine is pale in colour with a green hue. The wine has pungent aromas of rose, musk and Turkish delight.
The palate is more restrained showing primarily pink lady apple characters and more subtle rose water characters. Subtle spice characters and clean fresh acid add the refreshing palate.
The 2017 growing season can be characterised as being long and cool. Good winter rains provided good moisture in the soil. January and February were cooler than normal and March was on average 2—3 degrees C warmer than average. The result allowed a slow development of flavours in the grapes.
